About the customer

Commerce.com, Inc. is a leading public Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider that delivers an open, AI-driven digital commerce ecosystem for global merchants.

Overview

Commerce's sales, marketing, billing, and customer operations depend on multiple enterprise applications. As part of its CRM transformation, Commerce needed Salesforce Lightning to operate as the central customer platform while continuing to exchange data with Salesforce Classic, Marketo, Zuora, Openprise, and ZoomInfo. Intellious designed and implemented a scalable integration framework that supported this phased transition and enabled reliable data movement across the customer lifecycle.

The Challenge

Commerce's customer and operational data was spread across multiple platforms, each supporting a different part of the business, with complex dependencies between Salesforce Classic and downstream systems. Moving directly to Salesforce Lightning risked disrupting existing processes. Commerce needed an integration solution that could maintain business continuity, connect sales, marketing, billing, and data-enrichment platforms, and reduce duplicate or inconsistent customer information.

How Intellious Helped

Intellious mapped Commerce's integration landscape and built a scalable framework connecting Salesforce Classic, Salesforce Lightning, and the surrounding marketing, billing, and sales-intelligence systems - keeping data synchronized and accurate throughout the CRM transition.

Business Impact

The integration connected sales, marketing, billing, and customer systems across the enterprise while maintaining business continuity through the Salesforce Lightning transition. It improved data consistency and visibility, reduced manual data entry and handoffs, and created a scalable foundation for future integrations.
